Job Title: Residential Officer - Community Corrections

Hamilton County Community Corrections is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Officer to join our team. As a Residential Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our residential facility, supervising residents, and providing support services to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the safety and security of the residential facility, including monitoring surveillance cameras and conducting regular searches of resident areas.
  • Supervise residents, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals and maintain a positive behavior.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help residents address their specific needs and challenges.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to resident care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to manage resident behavior.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a residential or correctional setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and community partners.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
