Job Description

At UNS Energy Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Fleet Services operations, you will be responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance, including oil changes, tune-ups, and inspections on vehicles and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems on vehicles and equipment.
  • Test drive vehicles to confirm safe and proper operation.
  • Perform tire repairs and replacements.
  • Assist parts personnel and order correct parts.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid, up-to-date driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Mechanical background and aptitude for repairing and performing maintenance on cars, trucks, and other associated equipment.
  • Ability to perform work in a safe and productive manner with fellow workers and customers.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Physically able to bend, stoop, and lift for extended periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to work in an industrial environment, including inclement weather.
  • Valid Arizona CDL license with necessary endorsements.
