Garden City Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Room Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse in our ER, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:- Deliver safe and effective patient care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Current PALS certification and/or ENPC within 30 days of hire.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred.
