**Job Overview**

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Crescent Point at Niantic, an Assisted Living Community.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced RN to provide high-quality nursing care to our residents. As a Registered Nurse, your main role will be to deliver personalized care in a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately assess, communicate, and document residents' status.
  • Observe and report any significant changes in resident behavior and health to the Resident Care Director, physician, family, RCAs, and Executive Director.
  • Direct and supervise the daily work assignments of the Resident Care Assistants.
  • Closely mentor, guide, and direct the Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
  • Coordinate care needs with community providers via an effective case management process.
  • Effectively balance service demands with supporting resident independence.
  • Recognize and assist in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation (financial and other) and report to appropriate sources.
  • Respond to emergencies and personal emergency response system and know when to call for backup.

Requirements:

  • Current state license as an RN and CPR certification.
  • Graduate of an approved RN program (per state requirements).
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred.
  • Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable.
