Physicians Surgical Network Affiliates is seeking a talented Med/Surg Inpatient Registered Nurse to join our team in Carrollton. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic group of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Inpatient setting
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
  • Initiate corrective action when patients display adverse symptomatology
  • Provide education to patients and their families on surgical procedures and post-treatment care
  • Participate in discharge planning and ensure a smooth transition of care

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current nursing license in good standing with the State licensing board
  • 1 year of Med/Surg experience
  • ACLS and PALS certification
