We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Front Desk Coordinator to join our team at the City of Sacramento, CA. As a coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to the public, responding to inquiries, and processing transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to inquiries and provide information to the public, either in person or via phone;
  • Process transactions, such as payments and permits, and update records accordingly;
  • Assist customers with completing forms and applications, and provide guidance on procedures and policies;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, databases, and reports to assist with informational requests and status updates;
  • Communicate effectively with customers, staff, and management to ensure seamless interactions and resolve any issues that may arise;
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • At least one year of increasingly responsible experience in customer service, public contact, or a related field;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook;
  • Ability to learn and use various software applications, including HRIS and applicant tracking systems;
