As a key member of our spa team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, coloring, conditioning, and styling services, while ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional hair care services, including haircuts, coloring, conditioning, and styling, using high-quality products and techniques.
- Greet and welcome members and guests to the spa, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
- Communicate effectively with members, guests, and spa staff to achieve desired results and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Perform all support tasks associated with providing services, including setting up and breaking down treatment rooms, stocking and inventorying supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist in the overall smooth operation of the spa, maintaining orderliness and cleanliness of the workplace, and effective communication amongst coworkers.
- Create a database of frequent clients and assist members and guests with questions regarding the spa and the club.
- Deliver exceptional service standards and department-specific signature touch points, ensuring a memorable experience for our clients.
- Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates, ensuring consistent and complete communication.
- Greet every guest, member, and team member with a positive tone and set a warm and welcoming atmosphere for every interaction.
- Provide extraordinary service that is enriching and memorable, exceeding client expectations.
- Embody and demonstrate wellness and the STRATA virtues through interactions, performance, and commitments, upholding the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club's brand, culture, vision, mission, and values.
- Be empowered to make things go right if they go wrong, taking ownership of issues and resolving them promptly.
- Give the guest/member a fond farewell, ensuring a positive experience and encouraging repeat business.
- Address feedback by utilizing the LEARN Model, ensuring continuous improvement and growth.
- Demonstrate a professional appearance and be attentive to what matters most, upholding the highest standards of service and quality.
- Comply with company policies and procedures, observing and adhering to safety guidelines.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in resort, club, or day spa experience.
- High School graduate.
- State of Colorado Cosmetology and Barber License.
- Indoor setting with overhead lighting and comfortable ventilation.
- Occasional work in all areas of the property, both inside and outside, possibly in inclement weather.
