Union University is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Adjunct Instructor in Music - Woodwind (Flute). As a member of our music department, you will have the opportunity to teach applied flute, ensemble coaching, woodwind techniques, and woodwind pedagogy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach applied flute lessons to undergraduate students
• Coach woodwind ensembles, including chamber groups and large ensembles
• Develop and implement woodwind techniques and pedagogy courses
• Perform in faculty and university ensembles as directed

Requirements:

• Master of Music degree in Flute Performance, Flute Pedagogy, or equivalent
• Experience teaching undergraduate-level private flute
• Ability to work in a team leadership setting and strong collaborative skills
• Preferred: Ph.D. or D.M.A. in Flute performance, Flute Pedagogy, or equivalent
