Adjunct Music Instructor

Union University is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Adjunct Instructor in Music - Woodwind (Flute). As a member of our music department, you will have the opportunity to teach applied flute, ensemble coaching, woodwind techniques, and woodwind pedagogy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach applied flute lessons to undergraduate students
- Coach woodwind ensembles, including chamber groups and large ensembles
- Develop and implement woodwind techniques and pedagogy courses
- Perform in faculty and university ensembles as directed
Requirements:
- Master of Music degree in Flute Performance, Flute Pedagogy, or equivalent
- Experience teaching undergraduate-level private flute
- Ability to work in a team leadership setting and strong collaborative skills
- Preferred: Ph.D. or D.M.A. in Flute performance, Flute Pedagogy, or equivalent
