DT-Trak is a reputable national medical staffing organization collaborating with various healthcare systems, including federal, state, and commercial hospitals.

Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in adult echocardiogram sonography is essential. Required credentials include BLS (AHA) and either a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS). Graduates from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program are strongly preferred. Familiarity with Epic software is advantageous.

This role involves performing diagnostic cardiac or vascular ultrasound procedures, providing the cardiologist with critical measurements and high-quality images of cardiac structures to facilitate accurate diagnoses. The technologist will deliver immediate feedback through preliminary reports of critical findings to nursing and medical staff, which is vital for timely treatment interventions. Additionally, the technologist will assist physicians during complex procedures, minimizing potential risks associated with these interventions.

Safety Considerations: This position is classified as safety-sensitive under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act (OMMA). Employers are permitted to decline hiring or take disciplinary action against employees in safety-sensitive roles who test positive for marijuana, even with a valid medical marijuana license.
