Responsibilities:
  • Greet and triage patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience
  • Record patient care documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Coordinate patient care according to physician standards and policies
  • Take patient vitals, perform phlebotomy, and assist with minor procedures as needed
  • Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the physician
  • Process documents in an organized and accurate fashion
  • Respect patient confidentiality at all times
  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms, procedure rooms, and lab areas
  • Represent the practice in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing school
  • Current New York license to practice professional nursing
  • Minimum of two years' experience in pediatrics preferred
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and dosage calculations
  • Basic computer literacy and experience with EMR systems (AthenaOne preferred)
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
