We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Tulsa Public Schools. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including classrooms, hallways, and restrooms
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Building and Grounds Site Supervisor and supervisors
  • Assist with special events and projects as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience as a custodian or in a related field preferred
  • Clear understanding of different cleaning products and equipment
  • Able or willingness to learn Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to occasionally lift more than 50 lbs. assisted
  • Ability to climb ladders and scaffolds
