Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Tuffy Tire and Auto Service. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks, including diagnosing and repairing complex issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards, meeting or exceeding customer expectations
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
  • Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in automotive repair or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive repair, with a focus on diagnostics and repair
  • ASE certifications in multiple areas, including brakes, electrical systems, and engine repair
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on efficiency and productivity
