Church Operations Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled Church Operations Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing internal business functions, managing key operational areas, and ensuring the church's business operates efficiently.
The Church Operations Manager will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team, the Session, and member-led committees to achieve the church's goals. This role requires strong leadership and relationship-building skills, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Business Operations: Manage internal business functions, including finance, facilities, contracts management, and human resources.
- Financial Management: Develop and implement budgets and business plans, ensuring ongoing financial health and alignment with the church's strategic goals.
- Risk Management: Identify potential areas of risk, establish and maintain adequate controls and insurance coverage, and manage supplier, vendor, and employment contracts.
- Team Supervision: Supervise a team of professionals, including the Director of Finance, Finance and HR Coordinator, Facilities Manager, Hospitality Coordinator, and Receptionists.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a similar senior leadership role.
- Operational expertise, including budget, project, process, and resource management.
- Strategic perspective, including ability to develop and lead strategic initiative implementation working closely with other key stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
The estimated salary for this position is $93,000 - $103,000 per year, based on experience.
