Job Summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with prescribed standards under the direct guidance of a supervising Radiologist.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with prescribed standards.
  • Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body.
  • Assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program (ARRT) or certified by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience as a Radiology Technologist required.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R) or certified by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • Advanced certification by the ARRT in MRI (MR) preferred.
  • Six (6) months MRI technologist experience preferred.
  • BLScertified.
