Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at WellSpan York Hospital. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the performance of interventional radiology procedures, including angiography and fluoroscopy
  • Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures to alleviate fears and anxieties
  • Document patient care and radiologic services provided
  • Collaborate with interventional radiologists to ensure accurate and effective procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or a related field
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • EPIC experience preferred, but not required
