About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing prescribed medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals according to professional standards and practices. They will oversee non-pharmacist personnel, ensure prescription accuracy, and maintain inventory in accordance with state and federal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Oversee the work of non-pharmacist personnel to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient medication use and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy.
  • A current Nebraska state license to practice pharmacy.
  • At least three years of experience as a pharmacist, preferably in a retail setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
