As a Medical Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants in the delivery of mobile healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work under the supervision of licensed NP/PA providers to perform tasks delegated to you.
  • Collect vital signs and assist with patient assessment and monitoring.
  • Perform IV starts and blood draws (as permitted by state law).
  • Apply splints under the direction of NP/PA.
  • Assist with wound care under the direction of NP/PA.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain point of care laboratory equipment.
  • Perform EKGs for interpretation by NP/PA.
  • Assist NP/PAs in the daily functions of a mobile healthcare delivery unit.
  • Document patient care and treatment.
  • Manage supplies and stock.
Requirements:
  • EMT Certification.
  • Any other license or certification required by the District of Columbia for the performance of specified tasks.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • BLS, American Heart Association.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
