Position Overview

The Business Account Specialist plays a pivotal role in overseeing a portfolio of commercial clients in the Kalamazoo area, providing essential financial services tailored to their unique requirements. As the primary liaison and key relationship steward for our members, this position emphasizes both the acquisition of new business and the enhancement of existing partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Business Account Specialist include:

  • Engaging with members to understand their financial and operational strategies.
  • Recommending suitable financial products and services to fulfill both immediate and long-term business objectives.
  • Actively prospecting for new business opportunities while nurturing and strengthening current relationships.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Confidence in member-facing interactions.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Exceptional communication skills across various platforms.
  • A solid understanding of financial institutions, particularly credit unions.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20 to $23, commensurate with experience, along with performance-based incentives and bonuses. Additionally, a stipend for cell phone and internet expenses is provided.
