Position Overview: This role is a temporary engagement designed to cover a maternity leave, with the potential for transition into a full-time role as we aim to broaden our team.

Responsibilities: The selected candidate will be required to respond to all emergency calls and patient transfers within our operational area, as well as provide mutual aid to neighboring services. The minimum commitment is 36 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime compensation at a rate of 1.5 times the hourly wage. There is a pay differential for night shifts and holidays.

Schedule: The standard work schedule consists of 12-hour shifts, although flexibility can be accommodated upon request.

Team Structure: Our service primarily operates with units staffed by a paramedic and an EMT.

Compensation: Salary is based on years of experience, calculated on an hourly basis. Pay is issued bi-weekly, with overtime calculated weekly. Competitive medical and dental benefits are available upon request for this temporary role.

About Us: Crookston Area Ambulance serves an expansive area of approximately 800 square miles, providing critical services to various communities. We have a regional access hospital nearby, with advanced care facilities available in neighboring regions. Our service averages between 1600 and 1700 emergency responses annually.
