Job Overview

vTech Healthcare is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-quality mammography exams and procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, adhering to strict safety protocols and quality control standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and engagement in the diagnostic process.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mammography technology and best practices.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a two-year Radiology Technology program approved by the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Certification in Radiologic Technology (mammo) with the ARRT.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
