We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic II to join our team at Penske. As a Technician II, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and reliable for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with engines, transmissions, and differentials.
  • Use Penske's tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.

  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this role include frequent movement, standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods. You must be able to work safely at heights and in all weather conditions.
