Job Summary:

Encompass Health Jacksonville is seeking a PRN Dietitian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nutrition and be able to work effectively with patients, doctors, and nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan therapeutic diets for patients
  • Confer with patients, doctors, and nursing staff regarding diets
  • Monitor Nutrition Services provided to patients to ensure standards of care are met
  • Instruct patients in diets for home use prior to discharge and as outpatients
  • Monitor past and present nutritional status and make recommendations to the health care team
  • Act in a supervisory capacity to ensure accuracy of food production as related to modified diets

Requirements:
  • Registered Dietitian licensure
  • Strong background in nutrition
  • Ability to work effectively with patients, doctors, and nursing staff
