Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect shipments, confirming quantities against shipping documentation
  • Accurately log shipment details into the company database
  • Report any discrepancies or issues regarding shipments to the Customer Service Manager
  • Efficiently process orders using available inventory and securely package items for dispatch
  • Utilize third-party logistics software for shipment generation
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts safely to transport materials
  • Store materials appropriately in designated warehouse locations
  • Conduct inventory counts, identifying and documenting any discrepancies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and resolve inventory issues
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
  • 1-3 years of experience in warehousing, shipping, or receiving preferred
  • Familiarity with inventory management is advantageous
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills along with excellent organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Capability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Adherence to safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and pass a drug screening as per local regulations
