Position Summary
As a Medical Technologist, you will perform essential laboratory tests across various specialty departments, including Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Blood Bank, and Microbiology.
Your role will involve:
- Conducting complex analyses of biological and chemical tests.
- Managing specimen reception and inventory of supplies.
- Troubleshooting instrument issues and documenting corrective actions.
- Ensuring quality control measures are adhered to and logged accurately.
- Training new staff and students in laboratory procedures.
- Participating in phlebotomy and accession responsibilities.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
- Eligibility for Medical Technologist (MT) registry.
- ASCP certification or equivalent is preferred.
