Position Summary

This role is responsible for the upkeep and repair of the facility's internal and external assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to company policies, guidelines, and regulatory standards in accordance with the Franklin Electric Quality System.
  • Execute detailed assembly instructions, processes, and protocols.
  • Identify and report issues related to quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Production Supervisor.
  • Support manufacturing operations by maintaining and repairing equipment.
  • Complete scheduled maintenance tasks in a timely and safe manner.
  • Ensure all necessary repair tools and equipment are in working order.
  • Test repaired equipment to confirm functionality.
  • Utilize schematics for the rebuilding or repair of various equipment components as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position does not entail supervisory duties.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficient in the use of maintenance equipment, including welding and machine shop tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
  • Hands-on experience with inspection tools, testing equipment, and hand tools.
  • Capable of reading and interpreting policy manuals, safety regulations, and operational instructions.
  • Exhibit common sense understanding to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions.
  • Deliver precise work consistently, adhering to strict tolerances and standards.
  • Possess interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Demonstrate adaptability in a dynamic work environment with frequently changing tasks.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and in potentially hazardous situations.
  • Willingness to perform moderately repetitive tasks.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (mandatory).
  • Completion of a trade school or equivalent certification in maintenance (preferred).
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a maintenance role (required).
