Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and disinfect all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas, and equipment.
  • Restock supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Transport linens and waste streams according to procedure.
  • Operate and maintain equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and disinfectant machines.
  • Participate in departmental and hospital functions, including training and instructing new hires.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and work from a ladder to hang or remove drapes.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
Work Environment

This is a per diem position, working variable hours. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to maintain a clean and safe environment.
