Key Responsibilities- Respond to and repair property issues identified by residents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including property walks, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
- Communicate effectively with residents, the Austin Support Center, and maintenance team members regarding repair status and completion.
- Document all completed work by taking before and after photos.
- Track supplies and tool usage for restocking and servicing.
- Provide exceptional customer service to MS Renewal residents.
- Assist peers as needed and provide resources to support team success.
- Continuously learn and grow to develop skills and knowledge in all aspects of the Maintenance Technician position.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Service-minded approach to all aspects of the job.
- Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience with a single-family or multi-family property management company.
- Vocational/technical school and/or college considered a plus.
- Basic knowledge of building and property management codes.
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, lock key, and general household repairs.
- Good communication and written skills.
- Great organizational and customer service/satisfaction philosophy.
- Must have a current and valid driver's license.
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
