About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Therapist to join our team at Kids Thrive Inc. as part of our Pediatric Day Treatment program. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling and completion of licensure in one of the following: BSW, LSW/LISW, LPC/LPCC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume primary responsibility for assigned client caseload.
  • Complete intakes and assessments for the program.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy for clients and document the process in the client record.
  • Act as liaison between referral sources and clients.
  • Conduct family interviews and provide referrals to appropriate resources.
  • Provide crisis intervention to clients as needed.
  • Plan aftercare for assigned clients to include case management.
  • Act as liaison with insurance carriers as needed.
  • Complete Diagnostic Assessments, Treatment Plans, and discharge summaries within specified timelines as per policy.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.
  • Completion of licensure in one of the following: BSW, LSW/LISW, LPC/LPCC.
  • Demonstration of group facilitation skills, knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis and treatments.
  • An understanding of mental health conditions in children.
  • At least one year of experience in a mental/behavioral health setting preferred.
