About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Asset Management Specialist to join our team at Ampcus Inc. in Albany, NY.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the inspection of civil infrastructure assets within their assigned region, ensuring compliance with the Canal Corporation's Structure Inspection Manual.

The ideal candidate will have one year of professional engineering experience related to highways/roadways, bridges, airports, waterways, or traffic management and safety systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain knowledge of current Federal, State, and industry standards related to the inspection of civil infrastructure.
  • Prepare reports, plans, and details to support various inspection assignments.
  • Complete field work as necessary to support the canals inspection program.
  • Promote continuous improvement related to ensuring the safety of Canal's civil infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Skillsets in various codes, standards, current laws, regulations, construction methods, and industry-wide policies and practices.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to prepare, review, and comment on technical reports, documents, and procedures.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to build relationships with vendors and all stakeholders across all levels and business units.

Salary Information:

$31,200 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
