Hazardous Materials Transport Specialist

Universal Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a Hazardous Materials Transport Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for collecting and transporting used oil and other hazardous materials in a safe and efficient manner.
The ideal candidate will have a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class A/B with hazmat/tanker endorsements and at least 2 years of verifiable driving experience. You will be required to load, transport, and unload used oil and other hazardous materials, complete all necessary paperwork, and meet scheduled collection times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load, transport, and unload used oil and other hazardous materials from pick-up points to destinations as directed by supervisors or dispatchers.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including daily vehicle inspections, manifests, and driver logs.
- Meet scheduled collection times and notify dispatch promptly if delayed for any reason.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
- Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class A/B with hazmat/tanker endorsements.
- At least 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to read written instructions, complete paperwork, and perform basic math calculations.
- Familiarity with all company policies and procedures regarding safety and operations.
- Good planning, organizational, and communication skills.
