CATS Academy operates under the umbrella of Cambridge Education Group (CEG), a leader in delivering high-quality academic, creative, and English language programs since 1952.
We are currently in search of a passionate educator specializing in Physics and Biology. The full-time educator will manage a comprehensive teaching schedule, which includes five classes and up to three subject preparations, while also serving as an advisor and fulfilling extracurricular responsibilities as designated by the administration. Our educators are expected to design, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that inspire students and foster a love for learning. They must effectively differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles and recognize the diverse needs of students. Additionally, full-time educators provide educational guidance and general counseling to all students, particularly their advisees, in a supportive manner that acknowledges individual student requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
The following outlines the primary responsibilities of a Full-Time Educator. This list is not exhaustive and may be adjusted to align with the skills of the individual and the needs of the Academy.
- Monitor student attendance daily, ensuring timely and accurate records while overseeing student behavior in accordance with the Student Handbook.
- Prepare detailed reports on student academic and personal development, including constructive feedback and improvement targets, adhering to deadlines and utilizing designated software for assessments.
- Create and implement a variety of lesson materials and assessments that cater to different learning styles and language proficiencies.
- Support and execute the advisory curriculum and House program as directed by the Director of Student Affairs.
As part of your role, you will also be expected to:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students entrusted to the Academy.
- Follow the standards and procedures outlined in the Faculty/Staff Handbook.
- Participate in academic, departmental, and school meetings as required, and engage in professional development sessions as directed.
- Attend school events (such as concerts, plays, and sports contests) to promote school spirit and support advisees.
- Fulfill study hall duties and weekend responsibilities as determined by the head of school.
- Complete all necessary documentation for absences from work (sick days, personal days, etc.) using designated software.
- Engage in an annual performance evaluation process.
- Contribute to a positive work environment for all Academy staff.
- Assist in creating a professional and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors to the Academy.
- Comply with reasonable requests from the Head to undertake additional tasks not listed above.
High standards of ethics and conduct are expected both within and outside the Academy. In particular, you must:
