Job Summary:
The Radiology Technologist operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images of designated body parts under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures. This role requires skills in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics, operating room, portables, fluoroscopy, emergency department, and outpatient procedures. The position includes a call-back rotation at multiple sites and reports to the Supervising Radiology Technologist.
Responsibilities:
1. Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images of designated body parts.
2. Work in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics, operating room, portables, fluoroscopy, emergency department, and outpatient procedures.
3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
4. Maintain accurate records and reports of imaging procedures and patient information.
Requirements:
1. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
2. Registered Technologist for Radiography (R.T.(R)) certification required.
3. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
4. 1 year of clinical experience in radiology preferred.
Work Schedule:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:30pm - 7:00am. Every weekend.
