Job Description:As a Per Diem RN Preoperative Nursing Specialist, you will provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit, coordinating care planning with other disciplines. Your role will involve rendering individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing preoperative procedures
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Supervise and delegate tasks to other healthcare employees as needed
- Participate in hourly rounding and observe safety guidelines
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of two years of experience in a Level III NICU or equivalent setting
- A current Registered Nurse license in the State of Arizona
- CPR certification and ACLS as applicable by facility or department
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of above-average pressure
$83,000 - $113,000 per year, depending on experience.
