Key Responsibilities
  • Meat Cutting and Wrapping: Cut and wrap meat products to meet customer demand and maintain high standards of quality.
  • Meat Department Operations: Assist with daily meat department operations, including receiving and stocking meat products, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and ensuring that customers are satisfied with their purchases.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other meat department associates to achieve sales goals, maintain a positive work environment, and support each other in meeting customer needs.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management tasks, including counting and reconciling inventory, identifying and reporting inventory discrepancies, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Previous Meat Cutting and Wrapping Experience: Preferred.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Required.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Required.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
