Role Overview:

  • We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in data analysis, particularly in finance and demand forecasting, to enhance the Order-to-Cash process and evaluate customer interactions. Our team is focused on achieving results through collaboration and goal-oriented strategies.
  • The Business Data Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective execution of daily customer experiences and order-to-cash activities, tailored to market demands and business goals. This position requires a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer data to inform OTC decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for analytical inquiries related to our network of Wholesalers, Specialty Pharmacies, and Distributors.
  • Deliver insights and business intelligence to facilitate informed decision-making aligned with daily OTC operations.
  • Support team initiatives, operational reviews, and management requests by providing relevant information for customer experience and order-to-cash activities.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Finance, Accounts Receivable, and Commercial Analytics, to develop actionable planning solutions and enhance trade efficiencies.
  • Generate insights on Specialty Pharmacies and Distributors; advance trade analytics reporting and automate processes to optimize data resource utilization.
  • Assess business priorities and manage expectations regarding deliverables and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare analytical reports, examining data trends and variances to clarify discrepancies in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Work with technical teams to identify reporting dependencies, design solutions, and coordinate deliverables towards shared objectives.

Operational Oversight:

  • Communicate strategic objectives and assist in identifying and resolving tactical challenges that hinder business performance.
  • Monitor transactional backlogs and risk areas, proactively planning for mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Performance Management:

  • Analyze and review operational plans to assess effectiveness and visibility.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree with 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Associate's degree with 8 years of relevant experience.
  • High school diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in analytics, forecasting, or strategy roles; prior experience in healthcare, biotech, or pharmaceuticals is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Strong analytical and software skills for data analysis.
  • Ability to interpret large datasets from various sources.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
