Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Pickleball Coach to join our team at Life Time. As a Pickleball Coach, you will be responsible for teaching private pickleball lessons and group programming, coordinating pickleball leagues and mixers, and providing exceptional member experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective pickleball lessons and programs that cater to diverse skill levels and ages.
- Monitor and instruct students during pickleball lessons, providing personalized feedback and guidance to help them improve their game.
- Collaborate with Membership Advisors and Member Activities to promote pickleball programs and services, ensuring seamless integration with the Life Time brand.
- Ensure the tennis facilities and equipment used for pickleball are clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Participate in sales efforts to drive revenue growth and meet departmental financial goals.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude.
- Thorough knowledge of the game of pickleball and effective teaching styles and techniques.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Within 6 months of hire, must complete one of the following certifications: International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) and/or Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR).
- CPR and AED certification within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as sports management or education.
