About the Role

The Container Store is seeking a Part-time Retail Employee to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet all customers, providing a warm and welcoming experience
  • Connect with customers to understand their organizational needs and provide solutions
  • Design and sell custom storage and organization solutions
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the register
  • Introduce and enroll customers in our rewards program
  • Support merchandise processing, including receiving and stocking products
  • Maintain the sales floor, ensuring a visually appealing and well-organized store environment
  • Assist with cleaning routines, including dusting, restrooms, and vacuuming
  • Process customer orders for curbside pick-up and/or delivery
  • Organize the stockroom, ensuring it is well-maintained to support selling efforts

Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Retail sales experience a plus
  • Strong computer skills

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
