About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at Cook Children's Medical Center - Prosper in Texas. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.

Job Description

This role will involve working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will provide high-quality medical care to patients aged 0-18 years old. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes specialists from cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Providing direct patient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
  • Collaborating with specialists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Participating in educational activities, such as conferences and workshops, to stay up-to-date on the latest medical knowledge and best practices
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree required
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Unrestricted Texas Medical license
  • Successfully completed an ACGME or AMA-approved residency in pediatrics
  • Board certified/Eligible in their specialty area
