The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents. As an LPN, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, evaluate, and develop individualized care plans for each resident. Your expertise will be essential in monitoring resident health status, reporting changes to the physician and RN, and collaborating with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough assessments of residents to identify their unique care needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other support staff as needed.
Requirements
• Current LPN licensure in North Dakota or compact LPN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the orientation period.
• LPN program completion as evidenced by licensure.
• Previous nursing home experience preferred, but not required.
