The Classroom Assistant & Lab Assistant is a part-time, 19-hour-or-less per week position that provides support to the course instructor to ensure the effective delivery of the required materials and to foster a positive learning environment. Roles may vary depending on the course.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with classroom instruction and preparation of laboratory materials.
  • Obtain and distribute course materials as needed.
  • Complete forms and submit reports in accordance with department procedures.
  • Operate office equipment, such as copiers, PCs, and/or phone systems.
  • Work independently and efficiently, with minimal supervision.
  • May assist with special projects and events.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
