About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at AdventHealth Sports Med & Rehab. As a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting, you will provide professional direct and indirect services to specific age groups in the outpatient rehabilitation settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based standards of care and lifelong learning through autonomous and collaborative participation in research, journal club/reviews, teaching/mentoring/CI, and/or clinical practice education within a peer group
  • Regularly participate in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships with a minimum of 2 contacts per month
  • Determine Physical Therapy Diagnosis and establish plan of care, make recommendations for referral if treatment needed outside of scope of Physical Therapist practice
  • Eligible to perform Direct Access Physical Therapy in OP setting, as indicated per state Physical Therapy practice act
  • Design and implement a treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards and recommended techniques and modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient's needs
Requirements
  • Licensed in the State of Florida as a Physical Therapist, or Temporary State of Florida permit as Physical Therapist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of previous work experience in an outpatient setting
  • CSCS, ATC certifications
  • Strong manual therapy skills
