Job Summary

Caldera Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Unit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to our residents and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

As a RN Unit Manager, you will be responsible for supervising a team of nursing staff, managing resident care, and ensuring that all nursing practices and procedures are followed. You will work closely with our Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of nursing staff to ensure high-quality care and services are provided to residents.
  • Develop and implement care plans for residents, ensuring that their needs are met and their rights are respected.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate care and services for residents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure that their needs are met and their concerns are addressed.
  • Ensure that all nursing practices and procedures are followed, and that our residents receive the best possible care.

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in good standing.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a supervisor in a long term care setting.
  • BLS certification.
  • Knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
  • Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
