Job Title: Anesthesia Technician

Contra Costa County, CA is seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
  • Assist anesthesiologists with the setup and maintenance of anesthesia machines.
  • Monitor and maintain anesthesia supplies, ensuring they are adequate and properly stored.
  • Collaborate with the anesthesia team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest anesthesia techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of an Anesthesia Technician training program and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • One year of experience in anesthesia services may be substituted for the training program.
