Company Overview: MAC DISCOUNT LLC specializes in acquiring large quantities of customer returns and surplus merchandise, subsequently offering these products individually through online auctions.
Role Summary: The Facilities Operations Associate plays a crucial role in supporting various tasks within the facilities department to maintain efficient operations. This position reports directly to the Facilities Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize, inventory, and sort pallets effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness in warehouse and office areas using appropriate cleaning tools.
- Manage waste disposal by emptying garbage and ensuring proper dumpster usage.
- Collect and compress cardboard materials for recycling.
- Assist in unloading live trailers at the dock promptly to prevent additional fees.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday for 8 hours, including a half-hour lunch break, with hours determined by workload.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Proficiency in following written instructions and adhering to company policies.
