In our department, we craft customized quotations and proposals for Power Transformer Services and Installations, catering to clients across the U.S. who require energy solutions for Substations, Data Centers, Renewable Energy, and Power Plants, among others. Our collaboration spans various units within our organization, including Project Management, Engineering, Logistics, and Field Service, to ensure we provide exceptional service to our clients.

Your Impact
- Risk Assessment: Our goal is to deliver the highest quality service at the most competitive cost to our clients, but only after thoroughly evaluating all potential risks.
- Customer Engagement: Read and respond to customer RFQs and RFPs.
- Resource Planning: Assess the manpower and tools necessary for Power Transformer installations.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside internal teams that manage transformer sales, logistics (transporting the transformer from the factory to the job site), project management teams providing personalized service to clients, the Proposals Team preparing final bid documents, and our installation team.
- Technical Preparation: Responsibilities include preparing and delivering the technical scope for scheduled inspections.
- Site Visits: There may be 1-2 site visits per year to discuss planned and/or completed maintenance performed by our Field Service Engineers.
Qualifications
- A technical background relevant to the Service Team, which can include a technical degree (e.g., Bachelor or Master in Engineering, IT, Chemistry, Finance, Construction, or Design) or experience in a similar role that translates into success.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Experience in Automation is advantageous.
- Previous exposure to Transformers is a plus.
- A willingness to learn and assist colleagues with new knowledge.
- An interest in process improvement is beneficial, as this is a focus of our daily operations.
- Strong communication skills are essential, as we work closely with internal stakeholders, global teams, and clients. Excellent verbal and written communication, along with thorough follow-through, is crucial.
- Comfortable navigating various systems (Salesforce, Excel, Jira, etc.).
- Structured, collaborative, and positive demeanor.
- Respectful of diverse cultures, religions, genders, orientations, and abilities.
