Job Title: Home Care Aide/Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide/Caregiver to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network in Pierce County. As a Home Care Aide/Caregiver, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their own homes.

Job Summary:

This is a part-time and weekend-only position that requires a valid Washington State Driver's License, a reliable vehicle, and up-to-date auto insurance. You must be willing to transport clients. A Home Care Aide License (HCA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required, with training provided for HCA within 120 days of employment. First Aid/CPR certification is also required within 120 days of employment. Fully vaccinated for Covid-19 or have an approved exemption.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their own homes.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare meals and snacks, and assist with feeding.
  • Provide transportation to appointments and activities.
  • Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition or behavior.
Requirements:
  • Both written and spoken English language proficiency required.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License, reliable vehicle, and up-to-date auto insurance required.
  • Home Care Aide License (HCA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required, with training provided for HCA within 120 days of employment.
  • First Aid/CPR certification required within 120 days of employment.
  • Fully vaccinated for Covid-19 or have an approved exemption.
