Key Responsibilities
Under the supervision of a physician specializing in cardiology or radiology, the Cardiovascular Laboratory Technologist will:
- Prepare the procedure room effectively for various interventions.
- Monitor and maintain adequate levels of instruments and supplies.
- Engage in departmental meetings and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
- Assist in both invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
- ARRT-R certification and appropriate licensure as mandated.
- Prior experience in a Cardiovascular Lab is preferred.
- Completion of a Cardiovascular Technologist training program with a focus on invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring is preferred.
- BCLS certification (AHA) is required upon hire and must be maintained.
- ACLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- Proficient computer skills are essential.
