We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Tech II to join our team at MemorialCare Health System. As a Sterile Processing Tech II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care by maintaining the cleanliness and sterility of medical instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Decontaminate and sterilize medical instruments and equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations
  • Assemble, inspect, and test medical instruments and equipment according to department protocol
  • Operate and maintain various equipment in the Sterile Processing Department, including steam sterilizers and instrument washers
  • Use instrument tracking systems to document tests and sterilizer records
  • Examine and maintain the integrity of sterile packages
  • Prioritize vendor tray processing and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Collaborate with the team to coordinate patient and procedure activities
  • Dispense DMEs in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist with the orientation of new staff members
Requirements:
  • 1 year of Sterile Processing experience or completion of a Sterile Processing Technical Training Program
  • Completion of HSPA CRCST Certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
