Position Overview

Evening to Night Shift Rotary Grinder Operator, $20/hr

Work Schedule: 4-day work week, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in setting up and operating rotary grinding machines or relevant experience in the Tool and Die industry is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in reading micrometers, scales, and indicators for precise adjustments.
  • General knowledge of machinery operations.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
Skills:
  • Dependable transportation.
  • Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to undergo training.

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating a rotary wheel grinder to process flat or irregular surfaces of steel plates. Your duties will include selecting, changing, and dressing grinding wheels for flat grinding, as well as making necessary adjustments to the machinery.

This local organization specializes in the production of heavy equipment components, dies, and molds.
