Intensive Care Unit Travel Nurse

About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our travel nursing team at CrossMed Healthcare Staffing. As a travel nurse with CrossMed, you will have the opportunity to work in top-rated healthcare facilities across the country while enjoying competitive pay and benefits.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $1911.60 - $2008.80 per week, which translates to a tax-free stipend amount that will be determined based on your individual circumstances. In addition to your weekly pay, you will also receive comprehensive benefits, including insurance options for health, dental, vision, and life, as well as 401(k) retirement savings and reimbursement for licensure and CEUs.
Job Requirements:
To be eligible for this ICU travel nurse position, you should have at least 1-2 years of experience as a registered nurse, preferably in an ICU setting. You must also be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and possess certifications relevant to the role. Physical abilities, communication skills, and collaboration with physicians and other healthcare team members are essential requirements for this position.
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities as an ICU travel nurse will include providing patient care, administering medications, monitoring patients' responses, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. You may also be required to transport patients, perform procedures, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. If selected for this role, you will be expected to maintain confidentiality, adhere to facility policies, and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines under pressure.
Working Conditions:
This ICU travel nurse position requires a flexible schedule, with shifts lasting up to 12 hours. You will need to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, move equipment weighing up to 100 pounds, and push, bend, and pull as needed. Comfortable working under occasional close supervision or independently, you will also need to communicate effectively with diverse personnel and manage frequent interactions with the public and customers.
